The Brother's Trust is a charity foundation run by Nikki and Dom Holland, along with their sons Tom Holland (new Spiderman) and his brothers Harry, Sam and Paddy. Since Tom is playing Spiderman he saw his popularity as an opportunity to spread light and awareness to help other people, as he wants to be a good role model. He started out visiting Children's hospitals when he was filming for Spiderman: Homecoming and found that this encouraged him to want to make the world a better place and which is how the Brother's Trust started. Nikki Holland, Tom's mother is the main person who runs it, but due to Tom's success they were able to raise money for charities due his success and him and his brothers have become the faces of it. Due to Tom's success they've been able to put on events to raise money for the charities they support such as holding competitions for fans to go to the premiere of his movies, holding live screenings etc, and one of the most recent ones being the pub quiz where they raised over $50,000 which is incredible, and I was also part of donating to it.

The Brother's Trust was created in 2017, which was used to help give attention to charities who aren't as well known as with bigger charities you often don't know where the actual money is going. With the help of Tom's popularity they were able to create events and fundraisers including being able to go to a premiere or even just being able to meet Tom. They have raised massive amounts of money going towards charities such as raising awareness for people suffering from EB. They sell t-shirts (which I still need to get one myself) which are made by the John Foundation in India which rescues girls who have been in the sex trade and offers them employment and all proceeds go towards fighting EB which is a skin disease that not a lot of people know about. They also have the Brother's Trust Dog Club which provides dog collars made by Masai women in Kenya this has been creating employment and independence for these women, with all proceeds from the collars going towards LunchBowl which is a feeding program helping feed children in Kibera. These are just some of the few charities they work with but honestly what they're doing with these charities is incredible! (I would've gotten a dog collar except I don't have a dog anymore sadly).

"The Most Rewarding Part Of My Career Has Been Working on The Brother's Trust" - Tom Holland, 2019

I love seeing people in the public eye using their popularity for good and making changes within the world. Like Tom and his family raising money for good causes, some other charities they support and raise money for is Artists for Africa who provide free creative arts programs to children who are orphaned and in poverty in Nairobi, Kenya. They recently brought a talented ballet dancer called Joel Kioko who got to go to the UK to improve his education in ballet at the English National Ballet School where he recently graduated from and am excited to see where his success takes him. Some other charities are Momentum charity that supports children with cancer, debra charity which supports people suffering from EB (epidermolysis bullosa), Anthony Nolan charity which helps people with blood cancer and recently have been doing things with t

The Brother's Trust has been an incredible success and will continue to grow. I've loved learning about the charities they support and am looking forward to the events they'll put on in the future. One I enjoyed over lock down was the Marvel Pub Quiz even though there was no money involved it was a lot of fun to get involved in and the livestream was one of my favorite live streams ever, because it was chaotic and funny, and I loved seeing Tom, Harry and Harrison. The quiz was also chaotic because Tom was accidentally revealing the answers to some of the questions and luckily his brother Harry was there to let him know. Another one was the zoom pub quiz which ended up being a sweepstake and go to donate in order to enter which I gladly took part in, and was happy to donate. Then also recently that I forgot to take part in was the sweepstake for the sign poster of Tom and their dog Tessa, but was made up of all the photos that took part in the brothers trust dog club where the money went towards the Empowerment plan which is great and congrats to the winners of the posters. Anyway following the Brother's Trust has been incredible and I can't wait to see what else they do in the future and I'm sure it'll become even more successful!
